The Subway on Main Street Near the El in Evanston, IL
Who says an individual Subway can’t have a little bit of a flair? The Subway Franchise at 506 Main Street in Evanston, IL with telephone number (847) 338-7222 is a neat place to eat. I had a veggie sandwich there this afternoon before coming to my volunteer job as a tutor at the Des Plaines Library. Guess what? They had fresh cilantro and avocado as additional options for the toppings, something I never noticed at any other Subway. The cilantro really added a zing to the taste of the sandwich, and I enjoyed it mucho!
The clientele was rather amusing as well. The lady right behind me had a bicycle front tire in her hand, and the lady behind her left her dog that she had adopted from the Humane Society tied to a parking meter outside. The dog was clearly traumatized by the momentary abandonment, and continuously voiced its dismay. Each of us was waited on with due haste and friendliness.
The other two customers left with their treat but I gulped my sandwich down at the location so that I could have plenty of water to drink with my meal. The place is very tiny but has a few tables for two in it.
