Wildcat summer camps great option for parents during hot summer…

As a kid I attended many summer camps for basketball, baseball and football, but the best were without question those hosted at Notre Dame and Northwestern. The Northwestern football camp offered me a behind the scenes glimpse of the Wildcats right before they upset the Fighting Irish and had their magical Rose Bowl season. I remember having the players sign my camp t-shirt in the weight room, one of them being the teams current head coach and then linebacker Pat Fitzgerald.

What better time to distract your thoughts with visions of sweaty summer days than during the current winter cold front, which has swept over the city in recent weeks. It is never too early to sign-up for the summer camps that are held at the world class Northwestern sports facilities in Evanston. Offered in fifteen different sports spread over three months, the experience will be both instructional and engaging for all young athletes who hope of playing on their high school team. Camps are offered in position specific training for some sports, for example advanced hitting and pitching sessions with the Northwestern baseball team coaches and players.
